About My Site.
By now you've probably figured out what this site is about? If you haven't then I'll tell you. My site is a fan site for the 80s synth rock group Tears For Fears.
Tears For Fears have been my favourite group since I was about 9. Most kids at that age don't even talk about music that they like with their friends because at that akward stage of life they're not exactly sure what their friends are going to think if they like something and their friends don't feel the same way that they do. This is why I never told anyone about my love of Tears For Fears.
I think I had a little bit of a crush on Roland Orzabal. His voice was just..... Ooh la la! Curt Smith has a nice voice but it was Roland who captured my soul since that time.
In 2004 Roland and Curt got back together and recorded the album Everybody Loves A Happy Ending which was really a happy ending for the fans that made them, in Roland's words, "so bloody popular."
Now that I'm a 32 year old woman I'm finding myself more and more connected with TFF's music so this is why I wanted to create this fan site. I want to start a network of Tears For Fears fans from all over the world. :) I hope that one day either Roland or Curt will come across this site and ask me about it but until then I'll be happy if the fans are still there. :)
